AAI Motorsports are to return to the Asian Le Mans Series in 2014 with a three car entry featuring a pair of BMW Z4 GT3s and a Mercedes benz SLS AMG GT3, all in the GTC class.
AAI Motorsports is based in taiwan and was established back in 1990.
The owner of AAI Motorsports Jun-San Chen is also the main driver and in 2014 he’ll be joined by Morris Chen (Taiwan), continued signing Takeshi Tsuchiya (Japan), Tatsuya Tanigawa (Japan), Sakaguchi Ryohei (Japan ) and Ollie Millroy (UK). In addition, the team has also recruited Takamitsu Matsui (Japan) and Yu Lam (China) as AAI target Le Mans in 2015.
British driver Ollie Millroy, who raced with Ecurie Ecosse last season said:
“I have been very keen to continue racing in Asia and AAI Motorsports have provided an amazing opportunity for me to develop my profile outside of Europe. I have a lot of experience in the BMW Z4 GT3, which I can hopefully use to help the team develop the setup on their car and I will work closely with my teammates to ensure we grow together into a winning combination.”
In 2013 Asian LMS, AAI Motorsports finished in third place in the GTC Class and will be gunning for the class win this season.
