Alpina Working With Duller Motorsport On GT3 Return

Alpina’s B6 GT3 cars have been quiet of late but there is the possibility that we might see a return to the track from at least one of the BMW 6 Series based machines that saw success in GT3 racing until 2012, in particular in the ADAC GT Masters where the cars won the 2011 Championship.

DSC believes that Alpina are working on a project with Duller Motorsport that, subject to the usual tiresome issues such as an available budget, might well see a new B6 chassis with a 5 litre normally aspirated engine replacing the current car’s supercharged motor.

The planned programme, again subject to budget might include the 2015 Bathurst 12 Hours and Spa 24 Hours.
