Team LNT have announced that Steve Tandy is set to join Lawrence Tomlinson and Mike Simpson in the factory-run Ginetta G55 GT3 car for the final two rounds of the V de V Championship at Magny-Cours and Estoril.
Tandy made his Team LNT debut in the Ginetta G55 GT3 car at Donington Park last month when he contested the British GT finale alongside Simpson after the cessation of his Generation Bentley campaign, but he is no stranger to Ginetta, having competed in the inaugural season of the British GT4 class in a Ginetta G50 alongside Phil Bailey.
“I am delighted to be running with Team LNT for the final two V de V meetings, the car is great and I loved driving it at Donington Park, plus, given its show of force in Europe this season, I and sure Lawrence, Mike and I will be bringing home the silverware at the end of the weekend!”
Team LNT have already celebrated a race win in Dijon and fastest lap at the world famous Le Mans circuit, as well as pole positions at four out of the five rounds held this far and are sure to add might to these statistics over the forthcoming two rounds.
“I am really looking forward to racing with Steve again, he was a great co-pilot in British GT and I am sure with himself and Lawrence, Team LNT will be a winning combination this weekend.”
Tandy and Team LNT will race at Magny-Cours on 12 October, before the V de V season draws to a close at Estoril on November 9.
