Two Year Competition Ban For Montagny After Cocaine Ruling

Ex Peugeot factory LMP1 driver Franck Montagny has been banned from all competition for two years from 23 December 2014 (the date when his provisional suspension began after a positive drugs test during the Putrajaya (Malaysia) event of the FIA Formula E Championship) and expiring on 23 December 2016.

Montagny tested positive for Benzoylecgonine (a metabolite of Cocaine) and will also lose trophies, points and prizes awarded between 22 November and 23 December 2014.
