KCMG Fail Post Qualifying Scrutineering, "Plank Too Flexible"

The #47 KCMG Oreca 05 Nissan will start from the pitlane with a further 30 second penalty for tomorrow’s 6 Hours of Spa Francorchamps after the car was examined post qualifying and was found to have an underfloor plank that was “too flexible”.

That will be a major disappointment for the team after Matt Howson and Nicolas Lapierre produced a combined average time good enough for 2nd in the 10 car LMP2 field.
