The V de V Endurance Series has published a revised provisional calendar for 2017, which sees the addition of one new circuit, and the return of two historic tracks to the schedule.
Barcelona (17th-19th March) will once again start the season. The series then travels further south, to Portimão (28th-30th April), a circuit new to the V de V calendar.
Paul Ricard (26th-28th May) comes next before V de V makes its way to Dijon-Prenois (23rd-25th June).
Next, the series returns to Jarama, Spain (1st-3rd September), where it was hosted for over 15 years, during the 1990s and 2000s.
Magny-Cours (6th-8th October), apart from staging the final French round, is the last occasion to see all the Challenges out on track (GT/Touring cars/LM P3/PFV, Proto and VHC, as well as the Funyo and Monoplace series) before the Endurance Series heads off once again to Estoril in Portugal (3rd-5th November) for the season finale
“I am the organiser, but I’m also a driver and I believe it’s important to offer the most exceptional tracks to our competitors,” declared Eric Van de Vyver, “I took everyone’s opinion into account when establishing this calendar and I think we are all delighted to take this direction next year, sportingly and financially. These destinations reflect the V de V Endurance Series’ vocation, which is primarily, enjoyment.”
