Robert Renauer Wins Porsche Cup

Robert Renauer has won the 2016 Porsche Cup, which is the trophy handed out annually to the most successful Porsche driver across the globe.

The 31-year-old German, who this season competed in the ELMS, ADAC GT Masters and the 24H Series all driving Porsches, accumulated 7,355 points over the course of the year, beating out runner-up Christian Ried for the trophy.

As a prize, he takes home a Porsche 911 road car, while Ride wins 30,000 euros for his efforts in the FIA World Endurance Championship and European Le Mans Series.

Ryan Dalziel took home the 2015 Porsche Cup, after winning the Pirelli World Challenge Teams’ Championship with EFFORT Racing.
