2016 VdeV LMP3 championship winners Inter Europol Competition are set to return to defend their title in addition to their ELMS programme.
The team is currently at Magny Cours for the first official two-day test of the season of the VdeV championship.
For the VdeV campaign this year Kuba Smiechowski will be joined by Hendrik Still. The team will also campaign a second Ligier JS P3 LMP3 car which will be piloted by Paul Scheuschner and a driver who will be named shortly.
In the ELMS the team’s current confirmed entry will see 2016 VdeV-LMP3 champions Kuba Smiechowski and Martin Hippe combine.
Michael Keese (Team Manager): “The biggest change from the last years is that we switched our main focus from the Formula Renault 2.0 for the much more future proof LMP3 in the VdeV and the ELMS.
“Preparations are well under way for all four championships and we are all looking forward to this season. It is going to be very busy but also very exciting. We are working very hard to possibly enter another car in the ELMS but are still looking for another driver.”
