Pegasus Racing will contest the full 2017 VdeV Championship with a new Ginetta G57-P2 in the PFV class, Ginetta has announced.
The former VdeV champion also intends to enter Creventic’s new 24H Proto Series alongside its commitments with the Pan-European series.
“I’m very proud to be involved in this new and exciting challenge for the team,” said Pegasus’ founder Julien Schell. “We are all ready to fight for plenty of podiums in the V de V Championship this season with our Ginetta G57-P2.”
Pegasus Racing is no stranger to prototypes. Founded by Claude and Julien Schell in 1998, the team has forged an illustrated history in motorsport racing in single seaters and more recently endurance racing with four trips to the Le Mans 24 Hours in the LMP2 ranks.
In recent years, the team has also competed in the European Le Mans Series, and made a one-off appearance in the World Endurance Championship back in 2015.
