The provisional entry list for the inaugural 24H Series round at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas features 53 cars, with 15 of them in the top A6 class for GT3 runners.
The biggest surprise is that it includes a pair of RWT Racing Team-run Callaway Corvette C7.R GT3s. The 24H CoTA will therefore serve as the US debut for the German-designed car, which is unable to compete against other GM competition in series such as the Pirelli World Challenge on North American soil due to a contractual agreement.
A third Corvette in A6 entered comes from V8 Racing, which is just listed as a C7.
Plenty of familiar faces make up the remaining A6 slots on the list including Black Falcon, Team Zakspeed, IDEC Sport, ROFGO Racing and SPS Performance all bringing a Mercedes AMG GT3 each. Barwell Motorsport and Grasser Racing meanwhile are set to bring a Lamborghini Huracan apiece too.
24H Dubai winner Herberth Motorsport is also on the list with its Porsche 991 GT3 R.
While there are no American teams listed thus far, Mexican outfit De La Torre Racing, which is a PWC regular, is on the list with a single Aston Martin Vantage GT3.
Further down the list there are two Super Trofeo Huracans run by GDL Racing and Leiper Motorsport as well as a Vortex in SPX and 11 GT4 cars in SP3-GT4.
Of the GT4 runners Brookspeed is present with two of the four Caymans Clubsport MRs entered while CWS and Century Motorsport will give Ginetta a presence in the race with their G55 GT4s.
The first running of 24H CoTA is set to run from the 11-12 of November this year.
