Imperiale Racing will campaign two Lamborghini Huracan GT3s in the 2017 GT Open season, after a successful series debut in 2016.
Confirmed behind the wheel for the team are ex-FIA GT champion and reigning GT Open champion Thomas Biagi and Giovanni Venturini driving the #1, and Porsche Cup drivers Vito Postiglione and Andrea Fontana sharing the second car.
“We will compete in a very demanding championship like International GT Open aware of having high level drivers and an excellent racing car,” Giorgio Ferro, Imperiale Racing director said.
“Thanks to the strict link with Lamborghini Squadra Corse, as Imperiale Racing we are ready to handle all the technical and sporting details with extreme accuracy in order to achieve the best results in all the circuits of the championship.”

On the other side there are Vito Postiglione, always leading in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe 2016, and Andrea Fontana who showed his great potential winning the Super Trofeo World Final last year and now is part of our Young Drivers Program.”
