Having topped the times in the morning’s free practice, the #63 Grasser Racing Lamborghini was once again fastest in the Thursday evening’s pre-qualifying session for the 2017 Spa 24 Hours.
The time once again came from Mirko Bortolotti, a 2:19.535 on this occasion. Second-fastest was Norbert Seidler in the Pro-Am Cup Rinaldi Ferrari (above), going round in 2:19.834. Jordan Pepper made it three different marques in the top three, lapping in 2:19.902 in the #9 Abt Bentley.
There were multiple track-limits warning throughout the session, culminating in a 10-minute stop-and-go penalty for Andrew Watson in the #59 Strakka McLaren (above) and black flags right at the end of the session for the #5 WRT Audi, #51 AF Corse Ferrari and #912 Herberth Porsche
Apart from that, there were no serious incidents during the hour’s running, which took place in warmer and drier conditions than free practice.
