Ginetta will boast a pair of 20-car grids at this weekend’s meeting at Rockingham Motor Speedway. Four new faces join the field across the Michelin Ginetta GT4 SuperCup and Ginetta Junior Championship for the latter part of the season.
Emily Linscott and Louis Foster join Elite Motorsport for the final three rounds of the Ginetta Junior Championship. The duo will contest Rockingham, Silverstone and Brands Hatch in order to retain their rookie status for the Ginetta Junior Winter Series and 2018 season.
Linscott enjoyed her first taste of the Ginetta G40 during the Junior Scholarship in October 2016 and has been keen to get on the grid ever since. An experience karter, she’s hoping to learn her racecraft during her first few meetings and to finish on the same lap as the leader during her first weekend.
The Michelin Ginetta GT4 SuperCup grid welcomes a new face too as Toby Bearne joins the grid as part of Team HARD. He joined Jason Baker, who returns to the championship for the final three rounds of the season with Rob Boston Racing.
Having made his debut at Oulton Park earlier this year, Baker celebrates his birthday on Saturday 26 June and arrives in Corby with a brand new livery and new sponsors People Source and Volaris Exec.
