After the #1 GRAFF Ligier topped the times on Thursday, the team’s sister #9 JS P3 ran fastest during Friday morning’s two sessions at Yas Marina.
This time round it was Alexandre Cougnaud, who set a 2:08.298, 0.364 quicker than the third GRAFF Ligier – the #6 – of Ricky Capo in Free Practice 4. Cougnaud’s time was also the fastest lap of the pre-Qualifying running too, the best time on Thursday a 2:09.113 James Winslow.
Third in the times during Free Practice 4 was the #77 Kessel Racing Ferrari again, the GT Pro/Am entered car setting a 2:09.712 courtesy of Andrea Piccini.
It wasn’t the fastest GT time of the day’s two practice sessions though, the GT Pro #99 Attempto Racing Lamborghini Huracan managing a 2:09.468 during Free Practice 3; Isaac Tutumlu set the car’s time.
Miguel Molina’s 2:08.285 during Free Practice 2 was therefore the best GT lap pre-Qualifying.
