Risi Competizione has confirmed that it will run two Ferrari 488s at this month’s 2018 Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona, one in GTLM and one in GTD.
The Houston-based team will race with team regular Toni Vilander and newly-crowned FIA WEC GTE Pro World Champions James Calado and Alessandro Pier Guidi in its #62 Ferrari 488 GTLM entry and Rolex debutant Miguel Molina and a trio of Mexican drivers: Martin Fuentes, Santiago Creel and Ricardo Perez de Lara, in the #82 GTD entry.
The team will also head to the Road Before The 24, with Pier Guidi on hand to test the 488.
Last season, Risi Competizione team completed a partial-season campaign in IMSA, which included a third-place finish at the 24-hours of Daytona in GTLM.
There’s no official word from the team yet on whether it will run the full IMSA season in 2018 or not, or whether it has any other 2018 plans.
