Here’s the very first of what is set to be a regular series, albeit at present an untitled one, as the DSC Editor joins forces with friend and colleague Marshall Pruett for a regular podcast rounding up the issues and points arising from the wonderful world of sportscar and endurance racing.
MP’s podcasting has made a huge impact in a very short time, a blend of fun, in-depth interviewing and astounding in car soundtracks, of which more to come, with DSC assisting with some additional options on our side of the pond.
MP’s matchless IndyCar efforts have been recognised quite correctly with backing from Cooper Tire but with the workload involved a conversation at Daytona led to a rapid agreement that reinforcements were needed on the sportscar front.
This, we believe adds something potentially important to the mix, it doesn’t mark any divergence from our other projects, it simply seeks to give a growing part of the racing mix some grown-up attention, albeit with a bit of fun along the way.
So here we go, MP’s blend of Stateside sass and analysis meets the DSC Editor’s inability to resist leg-pulling and searching for balance. This could get messy! Interesting, engaging, but definitely messy!
This first edition looks back at the 2018 Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona, and there was a lot to talk about.
