The new for 2018 Masters Endurance Legends series, featuring prototype and GT racers from 1995-2012 has been confirmed as part of the support programme for the revived Formula 1 French Grand Prix at Paul Ricard.
The cars will race twice on the Grand Prix weekend (June 22/24, a week after the 2018 Le Mans 24 Hours.
The Paul Ricard event is an additional race to the 2018 season that already includes races at Imola, Brands Hatch, Silverstone, the Nürburgring, Spa and Dijon.
“I’m proud that in its first year Masters Endurance Legends will be able to showcase its spectacular variety during a Formula One weekend,” Masters Historic founder Ron Maydon.
“The Paul Ricard circuit is perfect for these cars, as they will be able to really stretch their legs on the straight while the technical return section isa a true challenge for any driver. “Building on our experience in staging historic Formula One support races on Grand Prix weekends I’m sure we will put on a good show for the French crowd.
