Ian Lacy Racing has confirmed its full driver line-up for its 2018 Pirelli World Challenge campaign with a trio of Ginetta G55 GT4s.
The team will race with which boasts Frank Gannett, team partner Drew Staveley, and VP Racing Fuels founder Steve Burns.
“I’m very excited to field three new Ginettas for our guys. Our engineer Zack Porter has been doing a lot of homework over the off season,” Lacy said.
“We believe that his experience with the 2016 model combined with the upgrades to the 2018 car will put us in a good position to compete for a championship. I’m very proud to be entered in a field as competitive as the PWC GTS class. We are expecting close to 30 competitors and several manufactures have introduced new GT4 cars.
“This year should provide some excellent racing for sportscar fans.”
The team took delivery of three brand-new cars in mid-January and began shakedown almost immediately. They’ll compete for the first time this weekend on the streets of St Petersburg Florida.
