Ferrari has revealed the three driver crews set to compete in AF Corse’s 488 GTEs at this year’s Le Mans 24 Hours.
In the team’s #51 car, former Dunlop development driver and 2017 Le Mans winner with Aston Martin Daniel Serra will join the full-season 2017 WEC winning duo of Alessandro Pier Guidi and James Calado.
The #71 meanwhile, will see Sam Bird and Davide Rigon joined by Miguel Molina again, forming an identical trio to last year.
And in AF’s third car, which is competing at Le Mans as a one-off, Toni Vilander will race with former GP2 ace Antonio Giovanazzi and Daytona and Sebring winner Pipo Derani, who competed with Ford at La Sarthe in 2017.
There’s no confirmation at this time on whether any of the additions to AF Corse’s roster will compete at any other FIA WEC events during the ‘Super Season’.
