First-year GT Open team RS Racing has signed Andrea Bertolini to partner with Daniele Di Amato for the next round of the season at the Hungaroring.
44-year-old Bertolini, fresh from his first ever start in a prototype at Le Mans with Eurasia Motorsport, will be making his GT Open debut as as result of this drive, in the Rome-based team’s Ferrari 488 GTE Evo. He’ll be racing in the seat filled by Andrea Mortermini to this point in the season.
Renato Di Amato, RS Racing team principal, commented: “We are delighted of the possibility of having with us Andrea Bertolini, a works tester and driver of the Prancing Horse, who will certainly contribute to the team’s further growth. At this time, we want to thank Andrea Montermini for his availability and great contribution.”
The GT Open races at the Hungaroring are set to run from 7-8 of July.
