The 2018 VLN season has had more thrills and spills than most that have gone before. Join us this morning for VLN8, another packed field, with a range of stories around this year’s Championship, and tales in development for 2019, including the odd familiar face in the supporting classes making their way to the all-important Ring Permit.
Ross Gunn makes his first start with the Aston Martin Racing Team in the team’s SP8 Vantage alongside Chris Goodwin.
Fastest in Qualifying meanwhile was the new Aston Martin Vantage GT3 in the hands of Maxime Martin, Christopher Haase second fastest in the new Evo Audi R8 LMS. Neither will start from the front though, the cars, as yet unhomologated, run in SPX and will start from the back of grid 1.
Jonny Palmer and Paul Truswell are on the mikes this morning.
