Kessel Racing Set For Two-Car ELMS Entry In ’19

The Le Mans Cup winner steps up

Swiss team Kessel Racing is set to submit a two-car Ferrari entry for the GTE class of the 2019 European Le Mans Series.

Following on from title-winning success in the 2018 Michelin Le Mans Cup the team had already confirmed to DSC back in October that they would fulfil the obligation to a full season in ACO rules racing required in order to take up the auto-entry for the 2019 Le Mans 24 Hours that goes with the Le Mans Cup title.

But DSC has now had confirmed by sources close to the team that a second car will also be entered for the full year alongside the confirmed entry for the Le Mans 24 Hours

One car is set to include Le Mans Cup Champion Claudio Schiavoni in the line-up with the other understood to be slated for an all-female driver line-up, potentially including some, or all, of the trio competing this weekend for the team in the Gulf 12 Hours: Manuela Gostner, Rahel Frey and Michelle Gatting.
