As we ramp up to starting DSC’s coverage of ‘Super Sebring’ from tomorrow here’s a significant chunk of automotive diversion to bridge part of the gap as our mates at Historic Racing News launch their new streaming service with one heck of an opening gig.
Paul Tarsey and Jim Roller have added the services of Joe Bradley and Jamie Howe to bring a four-hour show from one of the biggest Concours d’Elegance in the world at Amelia Island.
The entry, available in full on HRN here includes some amazing machinery with more than one class that will be of very direct interest to DSC readers!
The broadcast also includes contributions from Alain de Cadenet and from the Torque Show’s Justin Bell.
Jackie Ickx, the original ‘Mr Le Mans’ is honoured at the show with a class packed full of his own competition cars, a significant collection in its own right.
Add to that an 11 car ‘Porsche 962’ class, with some truly amazing examples of one of the most successful ever sportscars and then be assured that amongst the galaxy of other classes there is plenty to savour and to learn, and you have a potential treat in store for the day
In the meantime enjoy this exclusive interview with Norbert Singer and Jurgen Barth on the success and legacy of the 962 here >>
You can tune in to the live stream below from 4 pm GMT
