Ford Chip Ganassi Team UK’s pair of third drivers for the WEC ‘Super Season’ finale at Le Mans next month have been revealed on Twitter.
Johnathan Bomarito and Billy Johnson will drive the WEC full-season Ganassi UK GTs in the GTE Pro class, in the same cars they did at Sebring back in March.
#FordWEC | For the #6hSpa we will run our regular two-man crews in the Ford GTs but for #LEMANS24 @billyjracing will join @StefanMuecke007 and @olivierpla in #66 and #jonathanbomarito will join @andypriaulx and @HarryTincknell in #67 💪 pic.twitter.com/vmL8X9QYRP

Bomarito will race in the #67 with Andy Priaulx and Harry Tincknell for what will be his second race in Ford’s GTE programme, after the American had a strong run at Sebring, helping his British teammates score a podium finish.
Johnson too raced with Ford in Florida, but it was a forgettable race for the #66 GT he will share again in France with Olivier Pla and Stefan Mucke. He will, however, be hopeful of a result at Le Mans, as last year he was part of the #66’s line-up which finished third of the WEC entrants in Pro and sixth in class.
Le Mans will be Johnson’s fourth race of the 2018/19 ‘Super Season’ as prior to Sebring he was part of the #66’s win at Spa to open the season before last year’s Le Mans 24 Hours.
This weekend at Spa for the penultimate race of the season, Ford will race with its regular two-man crews.
