Le Mans Video Notebook: Brundles Reunited With Group C Jaguar By Motor Sport Magazine

H24 at Le Mans and Test Day Round-up

Jaguar XJR12, With Father and Son Brundle!

The very excellent Motorsport Magazine features a unique reunion between Martin Brundle and his Championship winning Jaguar XJR12 this month, with the added bonus of the attendance and involvement for a Test Drive by son, and current sportscar racing star, Alex.

A short film below gives something of the flavour of the day, but do check out the magazine.

H24 Hydrogen-fuelled Prototype To Display Before Start of Le Mans 24 Hours

After a short outing at the Le Mans test Day in preparation,  the MissionH24 LMPH2G racing prototype will take part in the traditional starting procedure for the 2019 24 Hours of Le Mans

Before the 62 cars are unleashed, the hydrogen-powered car will complete a demonstration lap of the full 13.626-kilometre circuit.

The display is a significant milestone in the MissionH24 project spearheaded by the ACO and GreenGT to promote hydrogen power in motor racing designed to achieve zero-carbon mobility – and displayed in front of a worldwide audience gathered to watch the biggest endurance race of the year.

MissionH24’s ultimate goal is to introduce a special hydrogen-powered prototype class at the 2024 Le Mans 24 Hours, the prototype car having first been displayed publicly during last year’s Spa Francorchamps ELMS weekend with another public run earlier this year on the Bugatti circuit.
