ORECA’s latest batch of 07 Gibson LMP2 cars have been out having their first shakedown testing in the past few days at Paul Ricard, all of them bound for the 2019/20 FIA World Endurance Championship.
Three cars have been built up in the past few weeks. Cool Racing’s primary WEC chassis has been completed (top, with Nico Lapierre on shakedown duty).
High Class racing too has received its second ORECA and this car too has been shaken down at Paul Ricard. (Both Cool and High Class utilised their ELMS chassis for the Barcelona Prologue).
The third car is believed to be the main WEC car for United Autosports. The car used at Prologue an ex JDC-Miller car which will now revert to being used primarily as the team’s travelling spare for the WEC.
