With the clock ticking down to the introduction next season for the next generation of LMP3 cars (though several sources suggest that we may see some cars running at the 2019 Gulf 12 Hours!), we’ll be seeing more cars testing in the coming weeks with the new Ginetta G61’s track debut imminent.
The latest car to be seen in action though is the Duqueine D08 that replaces the successful Norma M30.
The car was shaken down at Le Pôle Mécanique Alès-Cévennes by none other than Romain Dumas last Tuesday before the test team made their way to Paul Ricard where Nico Jamin took charge of the wheel.
Note the trio of Norma M30s pictured below to highlight the detail differences from the D08, including, deeper, two-element rear wing, revised light pods, revised side pods and revised upper front bodywork amongst others.
