Team Lazarus has announced that beginning in 2020 they will compete with a pair of Bentley Continental GT3s.
As part of the new partnership between Bentley and Team Lazarus, Bentley will provide technical and engineering support through its technical partner, M-Sport. As it stands though, the outfit has yet to reveal where it will race and who will drive its cars.
“It is with great pleasure that we announce our decision. Bentley is a legendary brand of excellence, bringing together style and passion for the world of motorsport, real connoisseurs of the most elegant cars with racing DNA,” said Tancredi Pagiaro, the Team Principal at Lazarus Racing.
Team Lazarus visited the Bentley headquarters and both Pagiaro and Bentley’s Director of Motorsport, Paul Williams felt confident in a successful partnership after that visit.
“The team shares our passion for competition, and after a visit to our headquarters, we knew we could provide them with the car and service required to help them reach their potential. Our goal is to be an extension of our teams rather than a bolt-on service, so having a close working relationship with a shared vision is essential,” said Williams.
Team Lazarus is a regular competitor in the International GT Open and GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup.
