The Cesena-based team, which is about to embark on its third racing season in 2020, will also run two Ferraris in Le Mans Cup too, with one of them an all-female pairing, the first in the series. Deborah Mayer and Michelle Gatting will race in the team’s #9 488, while its #8 will be shared by reigning champion Giacomo Piccini and Rino Mastronardi.
“I am very proud to celebrate my come-back to racing under the banners of Iron Lynx Motorsport Lab,” said Mayer. “I am highly impressed by their professionalism and great skills showed during the preparation for the 2020 season.
“I finally feel surrounded by a team that, despite its recent history, has already shown high performances and is very competitive. I am certain that I have found the right place for my Iron Dames project, I can’t wait to wear helmet and gloves.”
