FFSA Announce Resumption Of Testing At French Circuits From Tomorrow

With strict controls on numbers and travelling distances

Testing got underway last week at some venues across Europe, for the first time since introduction of public heath controls to stem the COVID19 outbreak, albeit with strict restrictions on personnel and activities

Now FFSA in France have today confirmed that from tomorrow onwards, anybody can test at or visit a race track in France granted that the track is within 100km of the visitors/ driver’s main residence (which is the limitation in place for anyone in France currently). The FFSA release can be read here >> – in French

At the track, groups / gatherings bigger than 10 people will not be permitted, though several groups of 10 people or less at a track is understood to be allowed.

Locker rooms, places for social interactions including restaurants and bars will remain closed.

Drivers can neither share nor exchange their PPE.

The FFSA has recommended to the national and regional authorities that competition resumes from August 1 onwards. As previously outlined, these events will have to gather less than 5000 people in total.
