Good Luck & Thank You Stephen Kilbey

New 'day job' with Travel Destinations

Stephen Kilbey has been a part of the DSC family since the age of 15 and, as the years moved along, he became a regular travelling team member covering the FIA WEC, ELMS, IMSA, IGTC and other major races, latterly as Deputy Editor, a post he has filled for almost 5 years.

During that time he completed a Sports Journalism degree (he got a First), became the Guild of Motoring Writers Sir William Lyons Young Writer of the Year in 2014 and got rid of one of the world’s worst passport photographs.

Stephen will continue to be a regular contributor to these pages but as of today, he has a new ‘day job’ as he joins our friends at Travel Destinations as their new Communications Manager, a great example of a business addressing the challenges of a post-COVID-19 economy by investing in talent. He has our absolute support in his new endeavours.

Good luck to him from all of us. We are enormously proud of the young man he has become.

DSC continues, with our regular daily dose of news, features and photography, as we have for almost two decades now, we’ll be here in the tough times to come for the endurance racing industry to tell their stories and to offer a helping hand and in the better times beyond too.
