An updated entry list for the 2020 Le Mans 24 Hours is likely to be published tomorrow with a number of additional withdrawals to be confirmed from both the LMP and GTE ranks.
At present we believe that number to be at least four, and most likely more than four.
DSC understands too that at least one of the four current remaining reserve listed teams has refused the opportunity to be elevated to the entry proper.
Unless there is an additional car added from beyond the official reserves we therefore expect the current list to be below the maximum 62 car entry.
It should be remembered that the maximum was raised to 62 only last year.
Almost every national and international championship has seen an impact on entry numbers in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
