GT4 South European Cup Confirms Revised Calendar

Final round pushed to January 2021

The revised calendar for the GT4 South European Series sees the 2020 season spill over into January 2021 as race organisers continue to battle to find opportunities to complete meaningful calendars in the wake of, and with the continuing challenges posed by, the COVID-19 pandemic.

The first two GT4 South European events: Jarama and Algarve. have changed dates. Jarama pushed to 31 October/1 November and Algarve to 23/24 January 2021.

Jerez remains on 17/18 October and Estoril on 5/6 December.

International competition but with more controlled costs

A new cost control programme was also announced with the new calendar, starting with anew tire supplier. Hankook will be the official supplier for 2020.

Entry fees have been reduced too to assist customers and encourage them to race in a season that has seen significant hardship for teams.
