Eurasia Reveal Le Mans Livery
Eurasia Motorsport has revealed the colours that their #35 Ligier JS P217 will wear for next weekend’s 2020 Le Mans 24 Hours with Nobuya Yamanaka, Nick Foster and Roberto Mehri.
Tyre Allocations
Amongst a raft of technical bulletins issued by the Endurance Commission today was confirmation of the tyre allocations for the 2020 Le Mans 24 Hours.
It confirms the intention of race organisers ACO to make their new ‘Hyperpole’ qualifying format as big a highlight as possible with each team qualifying for the session able to use two sets of tyres for Hyperpole only, ensuring that the cars involved will have maximum grip available.

High Class Racing
High Class Racing completed the shakedown of their #33 Oreca at Barcelona today ahead of Le Mans with test and reserve driver Michael Markussen getting some valuable seat time that in more normal times he would have got at the Le Mans Test Day.
The 28 year old from Kolding in Denmark tested with the team at the WEC Rookie test at Bahrain in 2019 after racing in the Michelin Le Mans Cup (including the Road to Le Mans races).
He arrived in Barcelona directly from competing in the Danish TCR Championship (currently fourth in the standings).
The Barcelona weather didn’t support dry running, wet track and 21 degrees but the team (and Markussen) got through aero tests with the Le Mans kit and other LM-specific work.
High Class are keeping a close eye on their reserve driver!
