Panis Racing will enter the European Le Mans Series for the 6th time in 2021 with Aussie driver James Allen joining Will Stevens and Julien Canal aboard the team’s LMP2 class Oreca 07.
Sarah Abadie, Team Manager: “We have a lot of hope this season to be at the top of the ELMS table based on last year’s results. Our engineering and technical team has gained increased knowledge of the car and tyre management.
“As in 2020, we are proud to have succeeded in bringing together three top pilots to compete in this new endurance edition.
“For his 4th season with us, Will (Stevens) is our spearhead, not only is his speed on track impressive but also he has a keen sense of the analysis of the race and communicates technical information to the team and his teammates with precision.
“He is once again reunited with Julien Canal, who last year not only lived up to his reputation as a very experienced driver but also achieved good average speeds and a clear season.
“It is also a great satisfaction to welcome James Allen, whose past results in LMP2 have demonstrated his high level of performance, to the team, it is a real added value for us.
“We have the weapons to fight against the competition, certainly fierce, to win races and aim for 1st place in the final standings. “
