As the 2021 Intelligent Money British GT Championship approaches, Buckinghamshire-based Steller Motorsport are targeting a multi-car effort with their Audi R8 LMS GT3 and GT4 cars.
The team has run Audis, with GT4 race-winning success and GT3 front-of-the-field competitiveness, since 2019 with Audi Sport Customer racing factory support and with all the Audis in full endurance spec, the team’s GT3 Audi featuring TPMS and telemetry systems.
With the shake-up in the GT3 class system for 2021 meaning the Silver Cup class is no longer part of the British Championship, Steller have had to recast their plans but intend to come back fighting with the potential to add a second car to the GT4 effort, the GT3 car still available too.
Whilst the primary focus is on the British GT Championship, the team are also keen to hear from any prospective customer about any other eligible Series of programmes in other GT3 or GT4.
Testing and driver coaching is available with hospitality packages for drivers and guests also on offer (subject to the lifting of current COVID 19-related restrictions).
Technical Director Max Daymond: “With so much uncertainty around everybody’s ability to make racing commitments for the coming year we think it’s the correct time to make our plans and ambitions clear.
“Our Audis are amongst the quickest, most reliable, and most cost-efficient packages on the marketplace right now and whilst there is solid interest in racing with us we are still looking to push forward with new members of the Steller family.
“We want to put on a strong show both on and off-track this year and I’d be delighted to hear from anyone that wants to hear more about what we have on offer for the 2021 season.”
