Our friend and colleague Jochen Van Cauwenberge whose ‘Frozenspeed’ images have graced our NLS and N24 coverage for the past two seasons has been actively involved in the relief effort for the flooding disaster that affected the region around the Nürburgring and Spa Francorchamps.
And in addition to his physical efforts, he’s also put up for auction this unique Frozenspeed Manthey Grello artwork.
The artwork is a unique drawing by artist David Pereira of the 2018 Nurburgring 24h winning Manthey Porsche GT3R.
As well as being signed by the artist the artwork has also been signed by all 4 drivers: Nick Tandy, Fred Makowiecki, Richard Lietz and Patrick Pilet.
All profits from the auction will go to the Hochwasserhilfe Ahrweiler and Adenau.
A signed and framed high quality print of the image on which the artwork has been based has also been added to the auction!
You can bid on this artwork by email to firstname.lastname@example.org the auction will end tonight, Sunday 25 July at 10PM CET.
The highest current bid currently stands at a very generous 6000 Euro.
Beyond that, here is a link to a page that lists a variety of fundrasing efforts to assist those directly affected – Fundraising Links
