This statement just issued by SRO
Following considerable discussions involving SRO Motorsports Group, Circuit Spa-Francorchamps and the competent authorities, it will no longer be compulsory that fans attending the 2021 TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa provide proof of a negative Covid-19 test or vaccination. This rule is effective immediately.
It will remain essential that spectators respect social distancing and wear a mask at all times. Should they be happy to comply with these rules, fans will require only a valid ticket and proof of identity to gain access to Spa-Francorchamps over the coming days (29 July – 1 August).
In line with this change, a new bubble plan will be instituted for the event. Bubble 1 will now have access to the area from La Source to the Kemmel Straight, while Bubble 2 covers the run from Les Combes to Double Gauche.
Anyone who purchased a ticket for Bubble 1 under the original plan will have access to the new Bubble 1. Those holding tickets to the original Bubble 2 or 3 will now have access to the new Bubble 2. Tickets are still on sale for this year’s race under new the new plan, with each bubble holding a maximum capacity of 5,000 spectators.
Spectators who purchased a PCR or antigen test to comply with the previous regulations will receive a general access ticket to the 2022 TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa as compensation. They should send proof of test payment and their valid 2021 ticket to 24h@sro-motorsports.com by 15 August.
