Inception Racing and their Kessel Racing crew worked until late last night to build up their car for the 24 Hours ahead after damage suffered in Thursday night practice.
Replacement chassis were understood to be available via both Iron Lynx and Rinaldi with the Italian team’s car chosen, we understand, the engine fired up at around 22:00 last night.
The damaged #92 Porsche meanwhile was permitted a 20 minute shakedown on the airfield runway last night, the car rebuilt around a spare chassis after Kevin Estre’s Indianapolis shunt at the start of Hyperpole.

Both teams though will certainly be on the back foot with regards to set-up and aero tweaks, the brief race morning warm-up is rather too brief.
BoP Changes For Corvette and Ferrari
A very late BoP change yesterday evening saw the factory Corvettes dealt a 7 kilo weight break, the #63 and #64 will race at 1269 kilos.
That followed a Thursday change for the GTE Pro and Am Ferraris with significant boost level reductions. Both the Ferraris and Corvettes will also race with a litre less fuel capacity than their test day levels.
