JOTA McLaren Repaired For Nürburgring, Maxime Martin Steps In For Self Isolating Eastwood At TF Sport

JOTA will race after all at the GT World Challenge Endurance Cup race this weekend at Nürburgring, the Kent-based team rebuilding the #38 McLaren 720S GT3 in just 2 days after the significant off at Brands Hatch which saw Raffaele Marciello penalised for the contact that saw Ollie Wilkinson leave the track at high speed and mount the barriers.

Wilkinson too is back on parade in Germany.

Charlie Eastwood though is a late withdrawal from the one-off TF Sport entry alongside Ahmad AL Harthy and Giacomo Petrocelli, the Aston Martin factory driver is self isolating after being ‘pinged’ as a close contact of somebody who tested positive for COVID-19. Fellow factory man Maxime Martin steps in to replace Charlie.
