The 2022 Nürburgring endurance series calendar has been published.
The calendar includes eight events with the first Nordschleife event set to take place on 26 March with the highlight of the season set to be the double-header “12 Hours of Nürburgring” from 10-11 September.
NLS2 (9 April) and NLS3 (23 April) frame the Easter weekend. The NLS will then pause until 25 June, the date of race 4.
In the meantime, the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring will take place (26-29 May). The 6-hour race will follow on 9 July.
The doubleheader, which was carried out for the second time this year, will become the “12 Hours of Nürburgring” in 2022.
The penultimate race on 8 October reverts to the 4-hour format. On 24 October the new champions and class winners of the VLN will be established at the final round of the season.
If one of the first three races has to be cancelled due to the weather, 5 November is planned as an alternative date.
