It’s more torrential rain this morning at Le Mans ahead of the practice and qualifying sessions this afternoon and evening.
The story of the day is still the ongoing legal dramas affecting the Lotus LMP2 outfit.
Both cars are being worked on this morning, built up with spares to replace those apparently seized last night though it is not yet clear whether all the required parts are available.
It seems that engines, gearboxes, suspension and braking systems plus electronics were seized and are being held pending a court hearing locally due later today to establish the correctness or otherwise of the claims that are being made.
The team spokesperson has told us that they expect to issue a statement by lunchtime.
