Toyota will be going all-out to give the TS030 Hybrid its last win when it takes two cars to the Gulf for the World Endurance Championship finale. British Eurosport will show live the start of the Bahrain Six Hours at 12 noon UK, and then final hour at 17.00 UK this Saturday, followed by an evening highlights programme at 20.30, to close its season-long coverage of Le Mans racing.
With the WEC driver and manufacturer titles done and dusted, neither Audi nor Toyota has anything to lose in the end-of-year ‘Desert Storm’; both will have new LPM cars for 2014, ready to take on whatever Porsche will be throwing at them. All the LMP2 and GT titles are still up for grabs, however, and British Eurosport Le Mans commentators Mark Cole and Carlton Kirby will present the action.
