Glorious sunshine greeted the DSC pack as we gathered at Sebring this morning with the TUSCC runners set to see their first track action of the weekend at 09:55 local this morning.
Meanwhile there are yet more driver changes to update you on.
There’s a reshuffle at Flying Lizards as Tim Pappas disappears from the entry list against the #45 Audi (apparently suffering from food poisoning), to be replaced by young Allessandro Latif who moves over from the #35 car.
There are very few TBAs left on the entry now, Muehlner Motorsport though do still have gaps against their pair of GTD entries, one of which is set to be filled by Kyle Gimple.
Billy Johnson meanwhile has tweeted that he has lost his GTD drive after being regraded to Gold in the latest changes to driver rankings – It is believed that he was initially slated to return to the now withdrawn #64 Scuderia Corsa car in which he contested the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona.
Whilst Level 5 are no longer on the entry list after the withdrawal of their pair of Ferrari 458 GTD cars from the full season entry, it’s also unlikely that we’ll see Scott Tucker here this weekend after the reported suicide last weekend of his brother Blaine. Our condolences to Scott and his family.
