2013 GP2 Champion Fabio Leimer has been invited to test for the Rebellion Racing team at this week’s FIA WEC ‘Prologue’ test as a precursor to a potential deal for the full 2014 season.
We should also get confirmation this week of James Calado at AF Corse as a full season FIA WEC driver with the Italian squad also keen to retain Sam Bird as part of their 2014 roster too after the British pair took part in a head to head test for the team earlier this month.
