An entry unexpected late boost to the 2014 Asian Le Mans Series grid has come with the entry of no fewer than 120 cars from North Korea, all of whom will be trying out the Series at the first round in Inje, South Korea before deciding whether or not to commit to the full season.
No announcement has been made as yet as to which class, or classes the new entrants will contest but a spy shot has been sent to DSC of one of the teams transporters at a pre-season test.
Even better news for the AsLMS comes as the North Korean contingent apparently intend to bring a very large number of supporters indeed to Inje, some of whom will be arriving by air, others intending to travel by sea.
