2:49 – 15 second stop-and-go penalty has been given out to Kessel Racing’s #81 Ferrari for abusing track limits.
2:48 – The pole sitting #71 SMP Ferrari in GTC, which missed the start, is classed as an official retirement because of an oil leak.
2:46 – Ludovic Badey gets TDS Racing by the Sebastien Loeb Oreca for 7th overall.
2:37 – The Sebastien Loeb Racing Oreca comes in, and Charouz hands over to Capillaire, but the stop gets extended, as it seems Capillaire couldn’t get it started.
2:32 – The Murphy Oreca has front-left bodywork damage, caused by a pucture which developed into a delaminating tyre. Gonzalez drives back all the way from Copse with flailing rubber and brings it in. The team changes drivers and the front section. The mechanics wheel the car back into the garage.
2:30 – Crubile Sport’s François Perrodo takes the lead in GTE, getting past Perrazini in the #54 AF Corse Ferrari before the Ferrari pits in. 10 seconds separates the top six in the class!
2:28 – Goudy in the #98 ART GTC McLaren is shown with a puncture crawling down the hanger straight.
2:20 – Simon Dolan retakes the lead of the race as the other P2 cars come in for their stops and change drivers.
2:17 – Michele Rugolo takes the lead of GTE back for AF Corse, diving up the inside of the #66 JMW 458 with McKenzie behind the wheel at Vale.
2:10 – Chris Dyson in the Caterham Greaves Zytek gets by Chatin in the Alpine as they go through traffic at Woodcote. Dyson now up to 6th in LMP2.
2:04 – The battle for second place heats up as Romain Brandelain the Newblood Morgan takes Wells in the white Greaves Zytek through traffic at Vale, a great move! Badey in the TDS Morgan now sits just behind the Zytek, ready to pounce.
