Anyone in any doubt as to the worth of Simulator time should look no further than the results sheets from the British GT Championship’s opening rounds at Oulton Park on Easter Monday.
A week before that we brought you the Base Simulators laps of the circuit with Beechdean AMR GT4 man Ross Wylie – And Ross and his team-mate Jake Giddings duly did the honours and took a race win in the team’s brand new #407 Aston Martin GT4.
This coming weekend it’s time for the second encounter at Rockingham and again here’s an opportunity to see the track through the driver’s eyes – It’s Jake Giddings’ turn this time, on a track he knows and likes – so if you’re planning to turn up and watch here’s a preview – If you’re planning to turn up and race, then time is available on Base’s GT Sim at all times of the day, with engineering support and driver coaching available too, at rates that will bring a smile to your face.
