1653: Kevin Korjus brings the leading ART McLaren in and hands over to Andy Soucek.
1654: More drive through penalties, this time the #10 TDS BMW and the #111 Kessel Ferrari for not respecting track limits.
1655: After the stops the Bentley has come out third, behind the two McLarens once again. The #99 still leads.
1657: Premat has lost a lot of time on his first flying lap, and has lost what is effectively second place, and has slipped down a couple of places. Kane is now just 21 seconds off the leading #99 ART McLaren of Soucek.
1700: The lead held by Soucek just 19 seconds now, Kane chipping away with 53 minutes to go.
1702: Joe Osborne now leads the race, but still has to make his final stop in the MP Aston Martin. The team lead Pro Am though, with the #80 RJN Nissan sitting second.
1708: Just 16 seconds separate the leaders now, Kane still lapping over a second a lap quicker than Soucek. Joe Osborne also pits from the lead, and gives it back to the #99 ART McLaren.
1710: The #19 Black Falcon Mercedes has been handed a drive through penalty for causing a collision. It currently sits 8th overall and 6th in Pro.
1711: The Horsepower Aston has a big shunt down the hanger straight, Schulz lost control on the outside of Chapel and went spearing into the barrier on the inside.
1722: The safety car emerges for the first time while the marshals recover the Aston from harms way.
1713: This safety car period bunches up the top two runners. There’s now just 5 seconds between them.
1721: Green flag once again with 32 minutes left.
1723: Kane has to fight his way through the traffic in front to get to the leader. He gets by all four cars during the lap. The chase is on.
1727: Replays show Premat spinning at the restart, he’s now down to 5th overall.
1728: The Pro Am battle is heating up as Florian Strauss in the #80 is catching Mark Poole in the MP Aston for the lead.
1729: Strauss breezes past Poole to take the Pro Am lead.
1730: A puncture for the #12 TDS BMW who is in 3rd in Pro Am, Petrobelli should take the third podium spot as he pits for Kessel.
1732: Kane goes half a second faster than Soucek on the last lap, the gap is under 5 seconds now.
1733: 20 minutes left and there is almost nothing between the #99 and #7. A grandstand finish is imminent.
1737: Premat slips down to 7th overall, both HTP cars get by. Dusseldorp in the #85 and Schneider in the #84.
1740: Bumper to bumper for the lead with 13 minutes to go!
1741: Kane gets by Soucek through Woodcote and onto the start finish straight for the lead. #7, #99, #26, #1, #85, #85, #84, #98, #80, #38, #3 make up the top 10 now.
1750: Amos gets the #43 ROAL BMW up to third in class.
1755: Vanthoor takes third overall from the #26 Sainteloc Audi on the final lap! And Kane crosses the line to score Bentley’s first Silverstone win for 84 years!
