Giuseppe Sperlinga, Team Principal of GPR Racing, multiple Belgian GT Championship winners, was jailed for 15 years yesterday after being found guilty of the attempted importation of a reported £4.1 million worth of Heroin and Cocaine into the UK.
Sperlinga was arrested by border control officers as he arrived at Dover in February this year with police and customs officials discovering 48lb of cocaine and 2lb of heroin hidden under his race truck’s front seat.
